This policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, exchanges and cancellations for orders placed through our website.
1. Overview
We aim to ensure every customer is fully satisfied with their purchase. If you need to return an item, we make the process clear and straightforward. Tyres must be unused and in original condition to qualify for a return.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Tyres may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they meet the following conditions:
- Unused and unfitted
- Not mounted, driven on or used
- Returned in suitable packaging
Items showing signs of use or fitting are not eligible for return.
3. How to Request a Return
Contact enquiries@northeasttyres.com and include:
- Your order number
- The reason for return
- Photos where helpful
We will provide return instructions and confirm the correct return address. Please contact us first to avoid delays.
4. Return Costs
If the item is damaged, incorrect or faulty, we will arrange collection and cover return costs.
If the return is due to a change of mind or incorrect size ordered, the customer is responsible for the return cost. You may also return items to our North Yorkshire location by prior arrangement.
5. Refunds
Refunds are issued within 5 to 7 working days after inspection of the returned tyres.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Original delivery costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Your bank or payment provider may take longer to process funds.
6. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, short or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours and include photos and tyre details such as DOT code.
We will offer one of the following:
- Replacement tyres
- Collection and refund
- Partial refund
7. Trade and Business Orders
Trade orders are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Once accepted and signed for, goods are considered sold. Approved trade returns may be subject to restocking fees unless the error is ours.
8. Fitted Tyres
Tyres that have been fitted or used cannot be returned unless deemed faulty under the manufacturer warranty.
9. Manufacturer Warranty
All tyres are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. This does not cover damage caused by incorrect fitting, misuse or storage.
We will assist you with warranty processing where applicable.
10. Cancellations
You may cancel your order before dispatch. After dispatch, standard return procedures apply.
If an order is delayed and you choose not to wait, you are entitled to a full refund.
