These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales made by North East Tyres Ltd to retail and trade customers through our website.
By placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Overview
We supply tyre products to both retail and trade buyers across the United Kingdom. We work with a network of warehouse and courier partners to provide a reliable and efficient service. These Terms explain the agreement between yourself and North East Tyres Ltd when you purchase from our website.
2. Products and Availability
All products listed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to update stock availability, product specifications or prices at any time.
Where a product becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you with available options which may include a refund or an alternative tyre.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices shown include VAT unless otherwise stated.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Discover
- Google Pay
- Apple Pay
Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched. Ownership of goods passes only when payment is cleared.
4. Order Acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders prior to dispatch in the following situations:
- Pricing or stock listing error
- Payment or verification issue
- Courier restrictions
- Delivery address not serviceable
If payment has already been made, we will issue a full refund.
5. Delivery and Surcharges
We deliver throughout the United Kingdom. Some locations including the Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland may incur an additional delivery charge due to distance and courier handling. These surcharges depend on tyre size, weight and location.
Delivery is usually within 2–4 working days depending on location and courier availability. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.
We will contact you if any delays occur.
6. Delivery Liability
We remain responsible for your order until delivery has been completed and proof of delivery has been obtained from the courier.
If you choose delivery to a garage or fitting centre, responsibility transfers once the courier confirms successful delivery. We are not responsible for items misplaced after delivery by a third-party garage or workshop.
7. Missed Deliveries
If you are not available at the delivery address the courier may leave a card or request redelivery. Additional charges may apply for repeated failed deliveries or if the order is returned to us.
8. Collection Option
Orders may be collected from our North Yorkshire location by prior arrangement. This ensures stock is prepared and avoids delays.
9. Returns and Refunds
We allow returns in accordance with our published Returns & Refund Policy.
Key points:
- Returns are permitted within 14 days of receipt
- Tyres must be unused and unfitted
- Faulty, incorrect or damaged orders are handled at our cost
- Change of mind or incorrect order returns are at the customer’s cost
Refunds are processed to the original payment method once goods are received and inspected.

10. Warranty
All tyres supplied by North East Tyres Ltd are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s standard warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the tyre and the exact terms, duration and conditions may vary between brands.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect fitting, impact, punctures, improper storage or use outside the tyre’s intended specification. We will assist you in processing a manufacturer warranty claim where applicable.
11. Fitted or Used Tyres
Tyres that have been mounted or driven on cannot be returned unless deemed faulty under warranty. Once fitted, tyres are considered used.
12. Trade Customer Terms
Trade and business orders are subject to the same policies unless stated otherwise. Trade returns are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to restocking fees or return carriage charges unless caused by our error.
13. Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch. After dispatch, our standard Returns & Refund Policy applies.
If an order is delayed and you prefer not to wait, you are entitled to a full refund.
14. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Loss caused by a third-party garage after delivery
- Loss of business or profit
- Delayed delivery beyond our reasonable control
This does not affect your consumer rights.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
