North East Tyres Ltd aims to make ordering tyres online fast, simple and reliable. We work with trusted courier partners to ensure orders are delivered safely and on time. This policy explains how we process dispatch and deliver all orders placed through our website.
2. Order Processing
To offer a wider and more varied stock range we work closely with multiple warehouses throughout the United Kingdom. Most orders are dispatched and delivered within two to four working days from confirmation. Orders placed over weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.
A dispatch confirmation email is sent once your order has been shipped. If there is a delay due to stock availability we will contact you with an update and provide options which may include an alternative tyre or a partial refund if there is a price difference.
3. Delivery Partners
We use a combination of national and regional courier networks to provide the most efficient delivery service. The courier used depends on your location tyre size and quantity ordered.
Tracking details are uploaded automatically once dispatched and can be viewed using the link provided in your dispatch email.
4. Delivery Times
Standard United Kingdom Mainland delivery is usually two to four working days from order confirmation. Delivery times may vary based on location courier capacity or seasonal demand.
Some postcode areas may experience slightly longer delivery times. These include the Scottish Highlands Islands Isle of Man Scilly Isles Channel Islands and other remote regions. We will contact you if any unexpected delays occur.
5. Delivery Areas and Surcharges
We deliver throughout Mainland United Kingdom. Certain postcode areas including the Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland may incur a surcharge. This will vary depending on tyre size, weight and location. If your address is within one of these areas we recommend contacting us before placing an order for an accurate delivery quote.
6. Missed Deliveries and Redelivery
If you are not available when delivery is attempted the courier may leave a calling card with instructions to rearrange delivery or deliver to a nearby collection point depending on the courier.
Repeated failed delivery attempts may incur additional charges. If an order is returned to us after multiple attempts we will contact you to rearrange delivery and additional courier costs may apply.
7. Damaged or Missing Goods
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If any tyres are damaged short or incorrect notify us within forty eight hours by emailing enquiries@northeasttyres.com with photographs and details. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible by arranging a replacement refund or collection depending on the situation.
8. Collection Option
Customers may collect orders from our North Yorkshire location. Please arrange this in advance so we can ensure your tyres are ready and avoid delays.
9. Fitting Delivery Option
North East Tyres does not operate fitting centres. You may enter your preferred garage address at checkout and we will deliver your tyres directly there for fitting.
Please contact the garage before selecting this option to confirm they can accept and fit tyres and to discuss any fitting costs. Once delivery has been completed and a proof of delivery has been obtained we cannot be held responsible for items that are misplaced by the receiving garage.
